Despite crying myself to sleep the past four nights after the encounter with my first online hater; I decided to give this whole podcast thing another go around.
I think I’d be remiss (fancy college word) if I didn’t address the number one question that you have to answer when starting up a Podcast.
Why should people take time out of their day to listen?
It’s a valid question. We live in a world overflowed with content and I know the last thing many people want to do is listen to an amateur college podcast hosted by two everyday dummies.
But I’ll give you one reason you should listen; we are everyday college dummies.
We really do not have to answer to any agenda and even more importantly we haven’t been corrupted (yet) by a world that tends to chew people up and spit them out. There are so many interesting and passionate people on this UMass campus and my goal is to have as many of them on as possible.
Obviously, Tom and I share a passion for sports. But there is so much more out there to talk about and I hope to bring people on the show that can share not only a love for sports but also people who can talk about personal experiences, philosophies, and above all people who are unapologetically themselves.
So, that about wraps up this sap ridden blog and I will just say one more thing before wrapping up. If you love the podcast feel free to tell a friend. And better yet, if you hate it with the passion of a thousand exploding suns- tell a friend. There is something to be said about being able to feel that no matter where you are in your life; at least you aren’t a dummy trying to start a podcast.
Hope everyone enjoys:
